About Us
The Jr. College of Commerce is one of the biggest in the western suburbs catering to more then 1500 students. It was started in the year 1986 with only 2 division & by the year 1994 it spread its wings & 13 divisions were sanctioned by the Deputy Director.
One Science faculty started in the year 1992 with only 1 division & due to the demand we have now 5 divisions catering to more then 600 students mostly from the vernacular sections.
Moto :
To impart value based education to the masses of the society enriching & helping them to maintain the quality of life. We exist to mould young minds via value based education as the name implies (Sanskar)
Mission :
Teach yourselves & everyone his/her real nature, awaken the sleeping soul, only then power, glory, goodness & purity will come & everything excellent will come when the sleeping soul is roused to self-conscience activity.
History & Management :
A few dedicated members came together & started the Sanskardham Kelvani Mandal in the year 1959. They started off with a Gujarati School in the initial stage, followed by an English Medium School & subsequently the Jr. College of Commerce in 1986 with a single division. Currently the Jr. College has grown to 18 divisions. The Science faculty commenced in the year 1992. The Sanskardham Kelvani Mandal also runs a Degree College of Commerce, B.Sc.I.T. & also a school for Hearing Impaired.
